Junior Leadership Academic Bowl is split into two teams:

The Leadership team is tested on all JROTC knowledge, ranging from LET 1 to LET 3 curriculum.

 

The Academic team is tested on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), as well as JROTC knowledge. 

​

Each team made up of four primary Cadets and one or two alternates who are either freshmen, sophomores, or juniors.

 

*Seniors are not permitted to be on the team, no matter their LET level.
